Mid Lake Cavaliers began in 2006 when we found Tasman. MLC's Tasman Jazz was our first Cavalier acquisition and we've grown substantially since then. When Tasman was just a young little guy it was obvious that he had all the makings for a perfect stud. From our early start with just 3 girls and our stud Tasman, we've grown quite a bit and moved location to South Carolina from New York in 2023. Our committment to health and uncompromising selective standards within the breed are just some of the things that we hold very dear.
We've had dogs our entire lives which was mostly focused on Border Collies as pets until the Cavaliers appeared and it’s been love ever since!
Our farm includes the Cavaliers and their new friends, the Great Pyrenees as well as cows and horses. We enjoy the freedom of working from home which affords the dogs all the attention and time daily that they require.
We also live on a beautiful scenic piece of property on Lake Hartwell in Townville, South Carolina. The dogs enjoy a beautiful, picturesque property with lots of room outdoors to play.
We also believe in giving the dogs everything that they need to succeed. Success with dogs is not only training, care and love it also includes a very high quality food. We feed the dogs only human grade holistic food from Beaverdam dog food which is for puppy/adults. The dogs are played with outside several times per day to keep their mental state just as sharp as their physical state.
All of our puppies are hand raised with extra love and care and as long as our parents are healthy and strong, they are making healthy happy babies. The puppies are also very well socialized prior to going to their new homes and we feel that nutrition and socialization are key components in a successful long term relationship with their new family.
